Hawaiian Salt Alea Red Gold

This red salt is mined in Hawaii on the Pacific coast. It is mineralized with red volcanic Alaea earth and gets its red color from iron oxide.

This salt is used as a finishing touch to your dishes, like fleur de sel. Its brick red color can color your preparations if it is associated too early with other ingredients. 

Ideal for fish, vegetables and red and white meats.
