Muscovado sugar

Muscovado is a whole cane sugar from Mauritius, with a molasses content of 10-15%, and a very soft, lumpy and moist consistency. 

Ideal for hot drinks of all kinds and for sweetening marinades, dark sauces and chutneys. 

The sweet taste of caramel and malt gives it a unique aroma.
 

Moist, dark coloured sugar with an intense flavour and hints of liquorice.

How to use : Molasses is obtained by boiling and stirring the sugar juice until it becomes liquid. The result is a viscous mass. The molasses is then heated again until the water has evaporated.
