Advice for use : In cooking, we mainly use European basil, but we can also use tropical basil. Basil brings a warm and spicy flavor to cooked dishes. Traditionally, in Provence, fresh basil is widely used as a condiment in dishes and salads. It goes perfectly with tomatoes, white cheese, creamy sauces. Count 1 drop for 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Always mix and emulsify the essential oil with the other ingredients. Add the essential oil, 1 to 3 drops, at the very end of cooking, with a little vegetable oil. For example, perfume with a drop the short broth of a fish just before the stop of cooking.
Precautions for use : Possible irritation when used in the pure state, not diluted. At high dose by internal way, there is a risk of hypnotic effects. Few problems with moderate use but not with prolonged use.
