Advice for use : Lime essential oil can be used in the kitchen to add a little zing to your dishes at your next garden party. Add a drop of essential oil to your favorite sauces to enhance the taste. Lime sauces are great with fish or raw vegetables.
Precautions for use : The essential oil of lime is photosensitizing. It is thus necessary to avoid exposing you to the sun or UV during the 12 hours which follow an application of a mixture containing this essential oil. It can cause allergies in some sensitive people because it contains limonene, it is therefore preferable to do a test (a drop of essential oil with a little vegetable oil in the hollow of the elbow, wait 24 hours to verify that there is no reaction). This oil must also be used with precautions (advice of your doctor) if you follow a medical treatment, in particular if you take anticoagulants because it is one of the properties of the essential oil of lime.
